I have a range of experiences in audio, from music performance to theatre mixing and lots of things in between. I have been fortunate enough to be able to work on student short films during my time at SAE as a location sound recorder and doing the final mix. I have also recorded bands in the SAE studios and demos for singer/songwriters at home and at Big Pop Studios. I've got experience recording and mixing on inline and split analogue consoles, a range of outboard gear, and straight into an interface at home.
Live, I'm fortunate to have had a range of experience on a number of systems.
A series of images including drum recording sessions at SAE, my handmade ribbon microphone, gear photos from a session at Big Pop Studios, mixing a backyard style concert for indie pop artist Emerson, and shows at The Civic.
This was the short film we made for my final project at SAE. I composed the music, supervised the on-set audio recording, and colaborated on the final audio mix.
Due to time constraints in post production, the music was composed over a few days and the film was mixed over the course of a few hours.
This is my EP of lo-fi music that I released at the end of 2024. The goal was to make some cool music; it isn't perfect or mind blowing, but I had fun making it.
